She is the first new year's baby for Moore County, NC so she will be making the local newspaper ... the reporter has already been in and taken her and the proud new parents picture...

Child Development - Children and the Benefits of Angels

Angels in art and meditation are an alternative and spiritual healing therapy for child development.

As more and more alternative and spiritual healings are being studied and documented they are finding that all forms of upliftment heals the body, mind and spirit. Angelic art falls within this category by uplifting the spirit. I do not claim Angel paintings create physical healings. Angel paintings soothe the emotions and create a more peaceful atmosphere helping today's society deal with the stressful world we now find ourselves in on a day to day basis.

Angel paintings are unique. They are a form of healing art. Angelic art uplifts, motivates, comforts, soothes and inspires. Each painting holds it's own inspirational energy and you do not have to be a " Believer" for this to work. These paintings work on a deep emotional level, clearing, releasing and comforting the emotions and melting the stress of the day away. Inspiring within each individual that gazes upon them their own God like image and this is how the healing takes place. A place of beauty and perfection is remembered by the Soul." Divine energy is at work assisting alternative and spiritual healing through Angel therapy in the form of fine art.

My Angel paintings for example are personal, Angels by Sharae, whether it be in one of my collection series or for a specific individual or relationship or group. Upon completion of each painting, I know that it is indeed meant for someone and their heart and soul will instantly know and respond to the Angel and the energy before them in the painting. My Angel art is a gift, given to and through my talent by Divine Angels guidance instructed to them by a much Higher Source. The Angels oversee and instruct every brushstroke and detail of paint color and every brushstroke within each painting ... they truly know "Who" the painting is for and the message it portrays. I have witnessed some pretty amazing emotional releasements, and reactions when people have gazed upon them and truly responded with their soul !

Each day, more and more documented proof is coming through from the medical fields proving that Art and Music are truly a recognized healing tool to be used by everyone. Whether it be in participation, gazing upon or listening ... Art heals. This has always been known in the Alternative and Holistic medicines, but now is being used more and more in the traditional medicines opening up a whole new train of thought causing many, many positive results benefiting all. I look forward to it becoming an everyday occurrence ... just as a standard prescription is used.

'Healing With The Angels', by Doreen Virtue who also authored Angel Therapy, " teaches esoteric and practical methods that help you work with your Angels in healing your relationship, family and body issues." Angel or Angelic art is an extension of this therapy.

Indigo and Crystal Children and the elderly respond to the Angel Paintings with a knowingness of love and illumination that comes from within them. Sometimes the reactions have been as though they are recognizing an old friend.

Children respond to Angels. I have spent many an hour introducing children to their Guardian Angels through guided visualization meditations. These meditations are a great way for children to have fun and to feel safe as never before when they actually know their own Angel. Angel paintings work in the same way when hung in their space and they know this is an image of their Angel. I have personally witnessed children who were afraid and shy most of the time become outgoing, happy kids ... when they have acknowledged their Angel it seems to open a whole new world for them because they know they are safe with their Guardian Angel watching over them.

Angels are so much more than we realize. I have found them to be great teachers and an endless source of information.

The Angels are the keepers and protectors of our children and surround each and every child with their wings of love. They focus on the nuturing, love and guidance of each and every little soul ... which speaks to my heart and makes it smile and I get to be called "The Angel Lady" by all these wonderful children.

" How to Connect with Your Angels in a Sacred Space "

Creating Your Sacred Space:

My definition of Sacred Space: spiritually receptive, where you can sit & meditate or quietly just Be... to nourish your spirit & soul ...

By creating an Angel alter you are setting your intention to the sacredness of the area and its' purpose... connecting to God and His messengers ... the Angels

I am not suggesting this is worship of Angels - this is the intent of creating a sacred space where you are more receptive to God's Angels and the messages, guidance and Love they bring to you and where you create your own strong connection to your own spirituality through the acknowledgement of the Angelic presence in your life. To speak to your Angels from your heart.

1. Choose your space ... a dedicated space for this purpose

2. Choose objects to place on your Angel alter that have a spiritual meaning and speak to you through your heart. Candles, incense, Personalized Angel Painting (as shown in the image above) or Angel Print, figures, crystals, a beautiful cloth, plant, flowers, symbols of the heart, box ( I use mine for written messages & letters to my Angels). Remember ... keep it beautiful and clutter free of such things as car keys, etc ...

You can add a comfortable chair, rug .. a comfortable place for you to be when you are following the steps below in connecting with your Angels or just to sit quietly ... it is your space ... make it comfortable.

Once you have your alter completed, dedicate it as an Angel alter and invite your Angels into your space and ask them to fill the space with their Love & Light ... speak to them as you would a dear and beloved friend ... Welcome them with your Love. They are always with you, but now you are wanting to acknowledge them in your life and connect consciously with them.

To Connect With Your Angels:

1. Take time when you will not be disturbed. .. This is your time ... Where comfortable clothing.

2. Play your favorite Angel music

3. Light your candle ( white, purple or violet) making sure that it is in a safe container for burning.

4. Light incense or aromatherapy oils can be used in their special infuser. Frankincense, sandalwood, lavender or jasmine are good choices ... the preference is yours.

5. Take some deep cleansing breaths and allow your body to relax ... and as you relax focus your intent on connecting with your Angel. You can ask to be connected to your Guardian Angel or an Archangel if you would like ... Ask for them to join you ... and feel their presence.

6. When you feel their gentle presence begin speaking with them ... this can be done silently or out loud. I sometimes write everything out if it is something very detailed I would like to discuss in letter form and put this in my box on my alter and discuss the highlights in my verbal discussion letting them know the details are in my letter ... Remember, if you need their help ... Ask for it.

7. When you are finished ... Thank your Angels... If you would like you can ask for confirmation of your discussion by asking for a symbol ... it may not come immediately so be aware and open to their response in the next day or so. The symbol make come in unexpected ways ... a song on the radio ... a phrase stands out in a sign, a feather in an unlikely place ... a thought floats through your mind that you know is not yours ... just be open and receptive. Listening becomes an important exercise for you ... the answers come in the silence and in many forms ...

The more you work with the Angels the more comfortable, knowledgeable and receptive you will become in the forms of communication that works the best for your relationship ...

There has been a world wide postive acceptance of the Angel of Comfort and the testimonials and reviews have added to their popularity. In these times this seems to bridge the gap where there never before has been offered something that really touches the hearts and minds of individuals on a level that reaches their soul and creates the comfort so needed for so many reasons. It does not matter what form of comfort is needed, these Angel paintings bring forth the energies the individual requires for the emotional healing to begin. This holds true if the Angel of Comfort Angel painting is ordered as a gift or the individual orders it for themselves.

Here is the story of the birth of "The Angel of Comfort" in Sharae's own words:

I am an Angel artist and several weeks ago while listening to the late night news, a news story came on that really touched my heart. On the way home in the wedding limo ... a drunk driver caused a horrible wreck, resulting in the loss of a child and the limo driver. This story stayed in my mind. A few days later, a woman emailed me requesting my help. She wanted to know if an Angel painting could be created for this family. I immediately knew who the family was. I heard a voice say ..."Yes, you can help ... Create an Angel of Comfort for her painting ... their energies are needed here." I emailed the woman and she immediately commissioned the painting

The painting took on a life of its' own. Upon delivery, the woman emailed back saying this was perfect and just what she had envisioned to help this family. I know my paintings help others all the time and had never thought of them helping in this way. The voice is still saying "There are more to help". I am researching grief and loss, thus "The Angel of Comfort" Gallery was created.

In my research, one of the definitions that I found really struck a chord with me. "Grief is the reaction to loss." Losses can range from loss of employment, divorce, pets, social status, a sense of safety, order, possessions, to the loss of the people nearest to us including friendships and relationships. Having experienced several of these losses myself, I would never have described the pain that I was going through as grieving unless it was the death of a loved one or pet. When I thought about what I had experienced during these times I had a light bulb moment ... I realized the pain felt no different. I was actually grieving. This put a new comprehension on what I had been told ... "There are more to help" ... and why "The Angel of Comfort" Angel paintings will help so many.

Grief is grief and loss is loss and our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies respond the same with a deep and profound sense of loss. This has opened within me a new understanding of the work I have been given and why this new additional door has been opened on the path of my spiritual journey.

The bible verse in Matthew 5:4: "Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted", keeps running through my mind. It is through the mourning that healing takes place. This is the way releasing deep pain was intended by God, with the promise that comfort will be and is provided. God sends His Angels for all things, for we are dearly loved and cared for and never alone.

A whole new understanding of grief and loss.

Indigos and The Little Things

There is a new generation of children in the world and they are known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series provides information on these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they also have certain needs and the purpose of this series is to help them and their parents find solutions to these needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work that they came here to do.

As a single parent, I never had a lot of money when my children were young so they didn't have as many toys and games that other children had. My children have never been to Disneyland or on a cruise but we did take vacations together every year that they still remember fondly. We didn't live in a fancy house and rarely went out to dinner. But their friends were always welcome and we ate dinner together every night. And my children think that they were very lucky and blessed and had a great childhood. Indigos appreciate the little things in life, the things that we do for them from the heart, the things that really matter. They can be materialistic so they definitely appreciate money and all that it can buy. But it is the little things that we do for them that they appreciate and remember.

I have written that my Indigo son's friends were always at our house for dinner because we ate together. They appreciated the opportunity to sit together and eat, something they rarely did with their parents. They thought that my son had a lot, although we lived more modestly than most of them. And my son thought that he had it much better than they did because I was there when he needed me. He said I embarrassed him by putting little notes in his lunch but when I missed a day, he asked me where his note was. And it surprises me to hear my children talk about the wonderful Christmas celebrates they remember, although they never received a lot of presents.

The world has so much to offer in the way of material goods today and we can believe that we must give our children more and more in order to make them happy. Indigos are very materialistic and their appetite for material goods can be insatiable. But the material items cannot replace the non-material things that we can give our Indigo children, our time, attention, love and affection. These little things mean far more to them than anything that we can buy for them. Each little thing that we do for them reminds them that there is a place where they are loved and safe, where they can just be themselves and with someone who cares enough to do special things for them. Although they know that we love them, they need to be reminded by the little things that we can do for them, things that may cost very little money but whose value is priceless. When they look back on their childhood, it is the little things that they will remember and thank us for because they made them feel loved, appreciated and special. Now, as many of them are young adults, the little things are still important to them. They need to know that we are still there for them (although many of them still live at home) and will do the little things that make them happy and feel special.

Beloved Friends,

The Hopi Nation has guarded its ancient secrets for thousands of years, and in recent times only small portions of their prophesies have been shared with the public. How the Painting and Messages Are Created for My Indigo Child Angel Paintings

~ About The Artist Sharae Taylor ~

As a child I have always been able to communicate with the Angels. They have always been a part of my life, but it was until later in life, I discovered that I was being instructed by the Angels on how to paint them, so that I may deliver more of their message to the world...person by person "individually". The Angels have never let me down with these paintings or their powerful messages. The Angels long to show themselves to you and have much to say to your heart and soul. It never ceases to amaze me, the depth of energy that "The Creator" purveys, and the amount of healing energy each Angel painting projects. These paintings and messages are precious and priceless, given they are a creation of your Guardian Angel, by your Guardian Angel. I have witnessed individuals responding to their Angel paintings with their soul, and other who have shared with me their near-death experiences and tell me that "this is who they saw" when they thought they were dead or dying. Others claim to have seen this Angel in a dream or from somewhere they can't place, or a time of great danger or fear, while others burst into tears of joy and instant recognition. One of my most recent paintings was done for a woman to give as a Mother's Day Gift. When she got the painting she naturally took it out and hung it on her wall to look at until it was to be given on Mother's Day. She looked at it and suddenly saw her Grandmother smiling "as if to say Happy Mother's Day to you too, with a wink!" Several names and nicknames known to this family have surfaced in the Angel painting...of ones long lost and missed! One never knows what one's Angel has to show or say!

~ A Message From Sharae ~

All of my Guardian Angel paintings are unique and one of a kind. Upon completion of each of my paintings, I know that it is indeed meant for the person whom the Angel painting is requested, and their heart and soul will instantly know and respond to their Guardian Angel before them in the painting! To the one the painting is being done for...an intimate letter from their Guardian Angel, word for word, is sealed and provided with the painting. My Angel art is a gift, given to and through my talent by Divine Angels' guidance, who oversee and instruct every detail of paint color and every brushstroke within each painting.

The process always begins with a prayer. I get very quiet and talk directly to God and ask to be a clear and open channel for His Highest Truth to work through me and the Angel of the individual or individuals I am asking for. I ask for His will to be instilled in, fill and surround the painting with what is needed for the awakening of their spirit and soul and this be for the highest good for all concerned and whomever comes into contact with this painting. I then "know" when the connection is made and we proceed. The moment someone places a commission to have their Angel painted, or places one for someone as a gift, their Angel knows! From this moment forward the Angel makes preparations and is ready to reveal itself and all that it has to share with you. If you truly seek your Guardian Angel and want to know your Angel, this it the time to reach out to your Angel with all of your heart and soul. Ask and seek guidance! You will be surprised at how much guidance you will receive before you even receive your Angel painting and letter!

~ How the Painting and Message is Created ~

After prayer and meditation I call upon the Angel of the name given, I then proceed. The voice is like whispers of the wind gently blowing through soft wind chimes, yet very clear. I can feel the Angel surround me with electrifying light and energy that covers my whole body. The whole canvas is surrounded and illuminated with glowing white light. At this point I do not see the Angel, but hear and feel the Angel in and around me. The Angel then tells me what colors will be used and I then paint the background as energy begins to flow down my arm to my paintbrush as I paint with acrylics. As I finish the final few strokes of the background, the Angel suddenly appears in the painting as an abstract image or impression coming through the painted background. I then begin to paint the Angel...with each and every brushstroke guided by the Angel only allowing their vibration and that of God to come through the portrait. I am guided on how to do each area and when something has been done to the Angel's satisfaction I am told..yes! Exactly! Leave it just like that!

You will notice in my paintings the Angels have no faces. I believe "Only God can create their faces...look closely into the painted brushstrokes and background, and you will see the Angel's face.

When it is finished I am told and then sign my name feeling blessed each and every time. I then start writing , word for word, all that the Angel wishes to share with the one it loves, protects, guides and nurtures every day of their life. Each message is mystifying and personal...but above all touching. I have not met a person yet, who truly sought to know their Angel, not walk away amazed and touched.

One of the questions I get asked all the time is what is the name of my Angel?

I do not know the names of the Angels I paint for you unless it is an Archangel, then I am given the name. This is part of the process that you are responsible for. As you connect more with the paintings and the Angels you are to ask the Angel themselves for the name. Part of the conscious bonding and becoming closer to your Angel is in getting to know them as you would a new friend. If you ask, they will introduce themselves to you.

Indigos and Emotional Immaturity

There is a new generation of children in the world and they are known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series provides information on these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world.

Despite their quick minds, articulate speech, personal power and insatiable curiosity, Indigo children tend to be emotionally immature. They do not deal well with emotions, are generally unable to manage relationships and avoid emotional confrontation. They wilt in the face of emotional challenges and tend to become angry in these situations. Put an Indigo child in an emotionally charged situation and you have a disaster waiting to happen. Indigos are not without emotion, far from it. It is, in fact, their huge capacity to experience emotion that creates problems for them. They are capable of experiencing every emotion to far greater depths than others and are highly empathic. They just do not know what to do with these emotions or how to process them. So they become angry and resentful when they are emotionally challenged.

We misunderstand Indigos' response to emotions when we judge them by their reactions and do not look past what appears to be an unwillingness to deal with emotions on any level. What we do not see is their internal struggle to understand, process and respond to a combination of the present situation as well as all of the emotional energy that is attached to it. While they do not tell us that they are emotionally overwhelmed, that is exactly what they experience. And since they do not have the tools to process their feelings, they respond with anger and even hostility. It takes a great deal of discernment to see past an Indigo's angry outbursts and realize that they are incapable of voicing their true feelings.

The Indigos may be known as the angry generation, one that responds to challenges with anger. Yet these loving souls hide their emotional immaturity with anger simply out of a desire to protect themselves. By understanding their empathic abilities we can help them to learn to manage the emotions that they are feeling, and they feel many, and guide them through those processes. It is too easy to write them off as troubled, difficult or challenging children, as our school systems tend to do, and try to medicate them out of their issues. Instead, they need a different approach, one that considers their abilities and understands their connection to emotional energy. We must build loving and trusting relationships with them to help them control their anger and learn to gain emotional maturity through understanding their feelings. There are no shortcuts when dealing with Indigos; they require time, attention and commitment. But the rewards are great as once an Indigo learns to deal with their emotional energy, they will become the loving, compassionate souls that they are and astonish us with their ability to love and to express emotion.

Adult Indigos and Justifying Our Existence

There is a new generation of children in the world and they are known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series provides information on these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world.

The Adult Indigos that I am writing about are the ones who are currently in their forties and fifties. These are the late baby boomers, the ones who were born post World War II and by parents who had experienced the war and depression, either as adults or children. One thing that marks this generation is that they were taught that they had to get an education and a good job so that they could have a respectable life. Many of their parents worked hard to send their children to college and everyone wanted their child to be a doctor or a lawyer. The theme for them was to be a respectable person that others admired and justify their existence through their social respectability, meaning their value is determined by what they do and have.

Many adult Indigos tried to do that, working hard at their jobs and saving their money, only to go through a long period of cyclical unemployment and financial difficulties. Now many adult Indigos find themselves either without jobs or in careers that they did not plan for. This has been hard on their wallets, but harder on their egos and they have to re-examine their reasons for working hard, often at jobs or careers that they did not like, or 'playing the game' of respectability that they did not believe in. For many, they have decided to stop fighting and to do what they want to do with their lives and realize that they have gifts and talents to share with the world that may not be admired or valued by others, but are important nonetheless.

There is still some pressure to justify our existence that has reappeared in the past ten years. While there are people who will play that game, the adult Indigos have decided that they don't need a fancy title, money or degree to justify their existence. Whether they made that decision willingly (by changing their career path) or unwillingly (through layoffs and unemployment), it is part of their nature to go against the flow of popular thinking and they had to experience this so that they could give their own children the freedom to do and be what comes naturally to them, instead of justifying their existence through what they do. It has not been easy but adult Indigos are beginning to awaken to who they are and to have the courage to walk away from situations that no longer serve or satisfy them. If you are an adult Indigo and you feel this way, know that it is just the awakening process that you are going through. Try to not get stuck in the 'I hate where I am right now' feelings. Instead, use it as a period to discover what you really want for your life, then go after it. You have many gifts and talents, a drive for success and passion for what you believe in. These are your strengths; use them to create what you want and share your gifts with the world.

As more and more alternative and spiritual healings are being studied and documented they are finding that all forms of upliftment heals the body, mind and spirit. Angelic art falls within this category by uplifting the spirit. I do not claim Angel paintings create physical healings. Angel paintings soothe the emotions and create a more peaceful atmosphere helping today's society deal with the stressful world we now find ourselves in on a day to day basis.

Angel paintings are unique. They are a form of healing art. Angelic art uplifts, motivates, comforts, soothes and inspires. Each painting holds it's own inspirational energy and you do not have to be a " Believer" for this to work. These paintings work on a deep emotional level, clearing, releasing and comforting the emotions and melting the stress of the day away. Inspiring within each individual that gazes upon them their own God like image and this is how the healing takes place. A place of beauty and perfection is remembered by the Soul." Divine energy is at work assisting alternative and spiritual healing through Angel therapy in the form of fine art.

My Angel paintings for example are personal, Angels by Sharae, whether it be in one of my collection series or for a specific individual or relationship or group. Upon completion of each painting, I know that it is indeed meant for someone and their heart and soul will instantly know and respond to the Angel and the energy before them in the painting. My Angel art is a gift, given to and through my talent by Divine Angels guidance instructed to them by a much Higher Source. I have witnessed some pretty amazing emotional releasements, and reactions when people have gazed upon them and truly responded with their soul !

Each day, more and more documented proof is coming through from the medical fields proving that Art and Music are truly a recognized healing tool to be used by everyone. Whether it be in participation, gazing upon or listening ... Art heals. This has always been known in the Alternative and Holistic medicines, but now is being used more and more in the traditional medicines opening up a whole new train of thought causing many, many positive results benefiting all. I look forward to it becoming an everyday occurrence ... just as a standard prescription is used.

'Healing With The Angels', by Doreen Virtue who also authored Angel Therapy, " teaches esoteric and practical methods that help you work with your Angels in healing your relationship, family and body issues." Angel or Angelic art is an extension of this therapy.

Indigo and Crystal Children and the elderly respond to the Angel Paintings with a knowingness of love and illumination that comes from within them. Sometimes the reactions have been as though they are recognizing an old friend.

I am a level 2 Reiki Practioner and I incorporate this energy into my paintings. Reiki is Japanese for Universal life - force or Spirtually -Guided Energy. Rei, Univeral all-energy compassing and all - knowing, and Ki, life - force energy, the same as Chi in Chinese. This is the energy that binds all living things together in unlimited amounts. With the guidance and wisdom of the Universe, this is the most powerful form of energy healing.

I find the Angels like working with this gentle ever flowing enerygy and some of my Reiki practioner friends that do hands on Reiki healing treatments actually see the Angels working with them in their treatment sessions.

Angels are so much more than we realize. I have found them to be a great source of information. They have a wonderful sense of humor and are always there when I need them consciously or unconsciously.I can almost hear the chuckling in the background as I sit here writing. I am an Angel artist not a writer, but as usual it seems the Angels have a different agenda so I might as well go along with it. They have gotten me out of my comfort zone more than once. They are my pep rally, they are my comfort through everything and my mentors and they never steer me away from my chosen path … my destiny, I am sure of it.

The Angels just expand it and broaden it more than I could ever imagine when I started this quest so many years ago of helping and uplifting humanity with the love and the message of such definite light there can be no mistaking where the source of this energy comes from… The Divine.

I only hope that people respond with their hearts in today’s times as there is so much love and compassion and healing just waiting for all. Let down the barriers and just accept the love that is so freely given and the help, healing and assistance that is just there for the asking. Every moment of everyday we are not alone, we don’t have to carry the burden that was never ours to carry. Release the pain, release the baggage that you carry to the Angels… just think it and it is done. It is that simple. The healing begins.

If you want proof, ask for the proof it will be given this I can and will assure you. When you truly act and react from the heart your lives will blossom with more than you could ever imagine … more understanding of this world will encompass you. It is all right there … and it can be something so simple as a gentle whisper or the viewing of Angelic art that will confirm in your heart and knowingness …
Angels are so much more than messengers.

Angel of Comfort ... The Story

"Angel of Comfort" ... The Story

I am an Angel artist and several weeks ago while listening to the late night news, a news story came on that really touched my heart. On the way home in the wedding limo ... a drunk driver caused a horrible wreck, resulting in the loss of a child and the limo driver. This story stayed in my mind. A few days later, a woman emailed me requesting my help. She wanted to know if an Angel painting could be created for this family. I immediately knew who the family was. I heard a voice say ..."Yes, you can help ... Create an Angel of Comfort for her painting ... their energies are needed here." I emailed the woman and she immediately commissioned the painting.

The painting took on a life of its’ own. Upon delivery, the woman emailed back saying this was perfect and just what she had envisioned to help this family. I know my paintings help others all the time and had never thought of them helping in this way. The voice is still saying "There are more to help". I am researching grief and loss, thus the Angel of Comfort Gallery was created.

In my research, one of the definitions that I found really struck a chord with me. "Grief is the reaction to loss." Losses can range from loss of employment, divorce, pets, social status, a sense of safety, order, possessions, to the loss of the people nearest to us including friendships and relationships. Having experienced several of these losses myself, I would never have described the pain that I was going through as grieving unless it was the death of a loved one or pet. When I thought about what I had experienced during these times I had a light bulb moment ... I realized the pain felt no different. I was actually grieving. This put a new comprehension on what I had been told ... "There are more to help" ... and why the Angel of Comfort Angel paintings will help so many.

Grief is grief and loss is loss and our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies respond the same with a deep and profound sense of loss. This has opened within me a new understanding of the work I have been given and why this new additional door has been opened on the path of my spiritual journey.

The bible verse in Matthew 5:4: "Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted", keeps running through my mind. It is through the mourning that healing takes place. This is the way releasing deep pain was intended by God, with the promise that comfort will be and is provided. God sends His Angels for all things, for we are dearly loved and cared for and never alone.

A whole new understanding of grief and loss.

Healing Art for the Indigo and Crystal Child

I have had a strong affinity to the Indigo Children for quite some time. I personally, have a grandson that fits all the criteria for the Indigo child. He is gifted, talented and possesses a warrior Spirit. As I began to understand more about the true purpose in the Indigo child being here on Earth, I realized how very crucial it is for us to support the Indigo child. A light to keep burning, their specialness needs to be recognized and accepted, their spirits calmed, balanced and restored and exalted...for they are our future. They are the wayshowers and the wayclearers for the Crystal child that is now coming in behind them...the gentle spirits. The Crystal child is also sensitive and easily recognized by their happy spirit and the all knowing large eyes characteristic of these little ones. These Crystal children also need their spirits calmed, balanced and restored on a daily basis. Music and Art is a must in their environment. Gentle beauty and peacefulness is like fertilizer to the garden for these two special types of children.

As always, I am delegated by my inner knowingness and my connection to the Angels that now is the time for their help to manifest in the physical reality for these children through my Angel paintings. I have been instructed these children have an additional Angel assigned to them at birth in addition to the Guardian Angel we all have. This Angel watches over them and assures their spirit of the importance of their life's mission at this particular time in our planet's evolution. This physical likeness of their Angel helps to stabilize their personalities and is recommended the Angel painting be hung in the room where they sleep and recharge from the day's stress of everyday living. These paintings all have a specific purpose and are completely individualized for each Indigo child, Crystal child and Indigo teen and Indigo Adult.
It is my honor to be able to assist these children through the gifts that God has given to me and once again the artist is on a Divine Mission with a passion that comes straight from the heart knowing this is what I am here to do.The passion for this new work is being fed from the spring in my heart that surfaces and manifests and moves out like the ripples on a pond.

Empowering Children Using Affirmations

“I can do this. I am smart,” I heard my four-year old say as he was intently focused on building a new puzzle. I smiled knowing this positive self-talk would help him accomplish his goal. A few minutes later, I heard an enthusiastic, “I did it!”

Have you ever used positive self-talk to help you feel better? Have you used affirmations to assist you in creating a positive attitude or achieving a specific goal? Did it help you? Positive self-talk or affirmations are used to help you feel better, create positive attitudes and achieve desired goals. In this article, we will look at how to create empowering affirmations and fun ways to introduce them to children.

Our self-talk has an undeniable effect on the attitudes and outcomes in our lives. What we think, we create! Our thoughts, words and beliefs are powerful creating tools that are at work all the time, whether we realize it or not. Add emotion to these thoughts, and they are manifested into physical reality that much faster. This applies to all of us, grown-ups as well as children.
Affirmations are positive statements about who we are, and what we can become and experience. They help us focus on what we want. The key in using affirmations effectively is to have them evoke positive emotions within us. At an energy level, the vibration of our emotions makes the universal Law of Attraction work for us, attracting experiences with similar energy vibration to ourselves. Similar to the phrase, “When it rains it pours”; it is the same concept. Only in this situation the focus is typically on negative events cascading one after the other, but this truth exists in all situations. This is why it is so important to monitor and choose our thoughts as much as possible.

When our children are feeling down, angry or upset, using affirmations and positive visualizations can change their focus from what they do not want to what they DO want. Changing their thoughts to positive, happy ones, puts them in a good vibrational place to attract that which they desire.

When we use affirmations and positive self-talk, our children learn how to do this for themselves. Affirmations work very rapidly with young children because they still remember the truth of their inner power, abundance and love. Reinforcing these positive thoughts and feelings gives children the self-confidence, positive attitude and beliefs which help them create joyful experiences.

CREATING AFFIRMATIONS

1. Empowering affirmations are always stated in a positive way. For example, “I am smart.” Instead of, “I am not dumb.” Stating affirmations in the positive puts our focus on what we want, rather than on what we do not want.

2. When making affirmations, write and say them as if they already exist. For example, “I am a fast runner,” not “I will run fast.” When we state in the present, we start creating the outcome now. Alternatively, when we say, “I will,” we are expecting to receive what we are stating some day in the future, which will never arrive because the Universe and our subconscious mind always create in the Now.

3. We can make affirmations especially powerful when we put emphasis on the words “I AM.” The words “I AM” call the creative aspect of God within us. Encourage children to use esteem-building “I am” statements like “I am creative.” “I am helpful and caring.” To reinforce “I am” statements when talking to your children, you can substitute “I am” for “You are”. For example, “You are creative.” “You are helpful and caring.”

4. Keep affirmations short, simple and clear. The shorter the better because this makes it easier to remember and repeat.

5. Evoke positive emotion. When affirming, imagine a specific scenario related to the affirmation; involve as many senses as possible until you really feel good inside.

EMPOWERING AFFIRMATIONS FOR CHILDREN

Affirmations should be personalized for each child depending on their age, vocabulary comprehension, and unique needs and interests. The following affirmations serve as guidelines that you and your children can customize to meet your needs.

TIME FOR AFFIRMATIONS!

Following are FUN ways to introduce and reinforce positive affirmations with children.

“My Affirmation Chart/Collage”

Visual reminders of happy and positive thoughts make it easier for children to focus on what they want to experience. An affirmation chart on the wall is an effective and constant reminder that reinforces what your children desire in their life. They can see and/or read their affirmations every morning and every night before going to bed.

Have your children make their own chart. They will need:

- A large piece of paper, 11 x 17 inches, or poster board.
- Magic Markers or pens, either black or colored.
- Images (pictures, photos, magazine cut-outs) that help your children feel good.
- As many wonderful thoughts about themselves, as they can imagine.

My Affirmations Chart

“My Affirmations Box”

Your children can have their own special affirmations box filled with encouraging, joyful thoughts. Each morning, they can pick an affirmation to focus on that day from their affirmations box. You can spend a few minutes with them to create a visual image for their affirmation, to get a feeling for it, and to say it aloud with meaning.
Your children can also make their own affirmation box to make it more special to them. You can get a simple small box at a crafts store and have your children decorate it.

They will need:
- A medium size box (should be big enough to hold more than 40 slips of paper).
- Decorations for the box (magic markers, paint and brushes, glitter glue, etc.).
- Pieces of paper (index cards cut in fours).
- Images (pictures, photos, magazine cut-outs) related to your child’s affirmations. (optional)

After the box is decorated, have your children (or you, if your children are too young to write) write the affirmations on the slips of paper. The affirmations should come from your children, but you can offer some ideas from the affirmations in this article. It is important that they only choose affirmations that feel right to them. Adding images that your children like helps them feel even better when reading the affirmations.

“Let’s Sing!”

Songs are a fun way to reinforce affirmations. Songs are repetitive and evoke emotion: two key factors that make affirmations more effective.

You can change the words of a song your children like with the affirmations, or you can make up your own song. You can introduce the new song to your children by first singing it yourself. After having you sing your new song happily several times, they will start remembering the words and maybe even singing it in their heads or out loud.

You can sing the following song to the tune of “Three Blind Mice”.

I am Love. I am Love.

I am Peace. I am Peace.
My day is full of Fun, Love and Peace.
In all I do there is Light and Cheer.
Love and Peace.
Love and Peace.

“I am Joy” (Tune: chorus of “Jingle Bells”)

I am Joy. I am Joy.
I am Joy today.
I am Joy, I am Joy.
I am Joy all day.

(Possible variations: change words to “I am Love”; “I am Light”; “We are God”; “We are One”, etc.).

Some of my children’s favorite affirming songs we have made up…
- “I am happy. I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am wise. God’s love flows through me now.”

“Read Affirming Children’s Books”

Reading children’s books where the characters use positive affirmations and have a positive attitude are a great way to show children how others use positive self-talk to create a happy outcome.

Some examples of this type of books are:

- The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper

- The Affirmation Web, A Believe in Yourself Adventure by Lori Lite

- I Turn to the Light, A Book of Healing Affirmations by Connie Bowen

- I Like Me by Nancy L. Carlson

“Bedtime Meditations”

Reading affirmations out loud at bedtime is a sweet and wonderful way to connect with your children. Your loving voice will bring much comfort to your child. You can either speak positive thoughts softly to your children while they are falling asleep or you can record them a tape with their favorite affirmations.

You could start by saying, “My beautiful child, it is now time to rest. I love you. You are loved. You are healthy and strong. You are smart. You are blessed. You are safe. You make friends easily. You are helpful. You are perfect just the way you are. You are kind. You create beautiful and happy experiences for yourself. It is easy for you to be happy. You are peaceful…” You can change these affirmations to personalize it to your child’s needs. You may also add descriptive images of your child experiencing happy events and succeeding at things you know she wants to accomplish.

You may also record the affirmations. This allows your children to listen to your loving voice whenever they need it. They may play it at bedtime, rest time, or when needing to feel better. When recording affirmations for your children, is best to use “I am” statements.
You can also play affirmations that have already been recorded. A good affirmations CDs for children is Indigo Dreams by Lori Lite. This CD is designed to introduce children to breathing, visualizations and affirmations. Another beautiful CD is Children of Light, Affirmations, Songs, & Toning-Meditation by Heather Macauley. Both these CDs are recommended for children ages 2 ½ and older.

BE A ROLE-MODEL… AFFIRM YOURSELF!

As parents, we are our children’s most powerful role-models. We can help empower them by using positive self-talk ourselves. Using affirmations that reflect self-confidence, love, trust, and abundance to create our own reality is the best example we can give our children. It is up to us to provide children with tools they can use to empower themselves and counteract the negative and self-limiting thoughts that bombard them on a daily basis. Affirmations, combined with positive emotions, are a powerful way to help us and our children manifest a joyful life.

Keys to Successful Affirming:

Affirmations work best when we are very relaxed, such as falling asleep, waking up or meditating.
Include a mental picture which evokes emotions to go with the affirmation.
Repeat affirmations often during your day.
Use different ways to affirm: read it, write it, visualize it, speak it, sing it, and dance to it.

This generation is known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series provides information on these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world.

Many of the adult Indigos had children when they were young as they are from the generation for which that was normal. At this time, they are finding themselves alone, empty nesters, as their children are leaving home to pursue their own lives. These adult Indigos are only in their forties and are ready to start the next phase of their lives, now that they have raised their families. Many of them have been through the corporate chaos that begin in the nineties and have experienced several job losses. For them, the concept of lifetime employment is not part of their reality. They know that the world of employment is no longer stable and that they have to ensure their own financial survival. The layoffs and reductions in force of the last ten years are a warning and more is to come. What does this mean for adult Indigos?

The adult Indigos' parents generally had a single job, one career track from which they retired and then pursued a quiet life. That has all changed now and the adult Indigos are well prepared for those changes. Although they tried to follow the corporate track, many knew that it wasn't right for them and they didn't fit in and could not find or enjoy the success that others seemed to fall into so easily. Their independence and entrepreneurial spirit got in the way of the need to follow someone else's rules. Now many are looking in other directions, pursuing a dream of self-employment in a wide variety of fields. Some enter the holistic or spiritual field, but many others find a unique niche that they can pursue to build a more stable and enjoyable work life. Even with adult children at home, they aren't ready for retirement; this is their time to shine.

If you're an adult Indigo and are beginning to feel that your 'nine to five' job is deeply unsatisfying, you're responding to the energy shifts that are calling adult Indigos to start the businesses that will employ the Indigos that are now reaching adulthood and ready for the employment market. You know, because of your own experiences in the corporate world, how businesses should be run and you will create work environments in which the incoming Indigo generation of workers can thrive. If you feel like you're ready to begin exploring this avenue, start now because the time is right. The Universe will support you and you will know what is right for you when you feel so passionately about a particular line of business that you are ready to put your heart and soul into it. Your corporate experience has given you the knowledge that you will need to run your own business. Ask for the Universe's guidance and support and then go for it. Today's Children-Indigos, the Whatever Generation

This generation is known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series provides information on these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world.

There is an expression that many Indigos today use. It's 'whatever', said with a certain intonation and look that implies, 'I don't care,' I'm not going to get involved in this,' 'This is not important to me,' or 'it's not my problem.' As an Indigo parent, hearing 'whatever' used to make me so angry because I couldn't argue with it and saw it as a dismissal of our conversation, which it was. Many parents take it to mean that these children are being disrespectful, not interested in what is going on around them, aren't willing to get involved and that's partly what they are telling us. What they really mean by 'whatever' is that it is not important, it doesn't matter because they know, through their innate spiritual understanding, that it doesn't matter at all. They know that they can choose what they focus their emotional energy and intention on and that what others think about that is not important. They know, and are one of the first generations to know, that they don't have to be part of others' reality and that their potential is unlimited and that's a powerful understanding.

'Whatever' has the same meaning today as 'groovy' did in the 1960s. It is the Indigo generation's answer to the pressure to conform, to be what others want them to be and do what's expected of them. They know that the social paradigms have changed and that there is no reward for conformity. What's different today is that they are more worldly, more knowledgeable than previous generations. And they have more intuitive knowledge at their disposal than we give them credit for. If you'll notice when they use the expression, a pattern will become very obvious. Try to get an Indigo to do something that they don't want to do, or to force them to see things your way, 'whatever' may be their response. It's not always meant to be disrespectful, it's their way of telling us that they aren't buying into our argument and more than that, that they aren't interested in arguing about it either.

Perhaps more of us should follow the Indigo's examples and take a 'whatever' approach to life. It can possibly open us to other possibilities, to prevent us from becoming involved in life's details and take a bigger picture view of life. 'Whatever' can become our new mantra when we realize that 'whatever' is possible-and anything is possible, a potential reality, in the Indigo view of life. Something in their life isn't working, 'whatever,' it's not worth getting all worked up over because something else will turn up. And it always does. The Indigos know that whatever is happening today will be different tomorrow and that it is not worth their effort to become fixated on anything in particular, especially if that means buying into someone else's view of reality. Maybe 'whatever' isn't such a bad thing and if we're to understand and work with the Indigo energy, then we will have to understand that 'whatever' can be a good thing. Even adult Indigos, who have a similar approach to life as today's Indigo children, can benefit from taking a 'whatever' approach occasionally. It will remove the pressure to conform, the reactionary approach to life and open the door to unlimited possibilities. It may cause a few eyebrows to raise in surprise, but it will give us time to breathe, to relax and to step out of the frenzy for a while and just take a break and do 'whatever' we want. When life throws us a curve ball, we can learn from the Indigos and just say 'whatever' and know that something else will turn up. And it always does.

Today's Children-The Confused Indigos, Part 2

The new article on today's children is now available on the website. This generation is known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series provides information on these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world.If today's Indigos seem unmotivated and unable (or unwilling) to find purpose and direction in their lives, it may come from their upbringing. Not that their parents were necessarily bad parents, but Indigos were parented by a generation who were determined to not repeat the mistakes of their parents and to give their children everything that they lacked as children. So the parents worked hard, sacrificed and ensured that their children had all of the love and opportunities that they could provide, as well as all of the material things that they never had. What has come from the parents' efforts is a generation that has everything that they could possibly want, and more. They have more money than their parents ever did, are well traveled, well dressed, well educated and more global than any other generation. So why are they finding it so hard to make their entrance into the world?
For all of their wonderful energy, Indigos can easily step into complacency-in plain words, they can be lazy. They know what they're capable of, they know their strengths and what is possible for them but they often choose to do nothing. Part of that is fear, they are afraid of making wrong or bad choices, so they make no choice. They are also a generation that has been put under extreme pressure to perform and succeed. Today's young adult Indigos are the children of the 1980s and 1990s, who were educated in language, art, music, dance and literature before they ever started kindergarten! Even the school systems, during the last 20 years, put tremendous pressure on these children to succeed. Now, they are a generation that appears to be burned out on success because they have had so much of it. And unappreciative because they have always had everything. What is next?
Understanding that a large part of their lack of motivation comes from fear of failure is one way to help Indigos start moving into adulthood. Acknowledging that we don't or won't judge their mistakes, or them, is another, as is talking to them about their worries and allowing them to be less confident, capable and successful than we may have led them to believe that we wanted. Indigos tend to have better relationships with their parents when they are older and the need to reconnect seems to be very strong now. Some Indigos who were highly successful earlier in their lives, are simply burned out on success. Some are afraid that they will not have the material success that their parents provided, so they choose to stay at home, where they're comfortable. But while we have to give them some leeway, we can't believe that they will get out of this by themselves, as previous generations would have, because they seem to be unable to muster the energy to do that. With our help, though, they can. We can help them find their passion and direction by being supportive but insistent, loving but disciplined and reflecting in our own lives the acceptance, joy and abundance that we are here to teach them.
